Purpose

Analyzes production metrics as well as various plant manufacturing processes. This position will assist the plant leadership team in completing administrative tasks, projects and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and organize plant operational data for operations superintendent
  • Analyze quality assurance data QA department
  • Generate, review, and maintain production spreadsheets and databases to ensure accurate and complete information is entered
  • Track metrics for department and help identify areas for improvement through analytical systems
  • Coordination with plant supervisors and management team for accuracy of reporting
  • Audit the various plant manufacturing processes including production and maintenance
  • Assist plant leadership team and other administrative task as appropriate
  • Perform data entry and maintain filing system
  • Learn and adapt to new responsibilities

 Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 year college degree preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the use of office software: spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentations is required
  • Self-starter that is highly motivated and capable of working independently without supervision
  • Excellent safety record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or wood products industry experience
