Type of Job: Regular

Job Time Type: Full Time (30 Hours or More)

Responsibilities:

Ability to perform complex Electrical, hydraulic and diesel engine diagnostics on agriculture machines.

Perform repairs in the shop or in the field depending on the season.

Perform machine inspections, provide recommendations for maintenance and repairs. Ability to read, write and use a laptop for machine diagnosis.

Assist in customer machine operation training. Maintains service vehicle and tools to top condition. Ability to manage onboard parts inventory.

Accounts for all labor and parts use don a repair in a shop or field. Follows all safety rules and specific regulations to repair.

Ability to perform air conditioning diagnostics and repair. Maintains a clean service area.

Strong ability to provide customer service.

Communicate with supervisors, peers or subordinates, providing information by telephone, written form and/or in person.

Ability to drive long distances at times from location to location.

Must be enrolled in the company’s non-DOT drug & alcohol testing consortium.

Physical Activities:

Required to wear all PPE such as safety boots, welding hood, safety glasses, gloves and/or hearing protection.

Lifting or moving objects 50 lbs, using lift assistance when needed. Work in a shop and field environment.

Stands for extended periods of time.

Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble very small objects. Ability to bend, stretch and kneel.

Hearing and vision within normal ranges with or without correction.

Environmental Factors:

Sun and weather exposure: 40% or less work time spent outside a building exposed to the elements.

Irregular or extended work hours: Occasionally required to change service hours. Ability to work in “on-call” situations weekends, holidays.

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in equipment diagnostics/repair or equivalent training

Complex electrical diagnostic ability.

Hydraulic diagnostic experience.

Self-starter. Troubleshooting skills.

Welding/Fabrication skills. Quality driven.

High school diploma or GED.

Clean driving record.

Team player.

Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requires a Driver’s License: Yes

Minimum Salary: 50000.00 Year                      Maximum Salary: 90000.00 Year

Pay Comments: DOE (Depends on Experience)
