The Del Norte Unified School District and County Office of Education is a combined District and COE. Job Summary
6.5 hour shifts available. Benefits are available to all employees that work 4+ hours a day. ( can combine positions) Vision, Dental , medical and *Retirement – *The District participates in California Public Employees’ Retirement System. Any employee that works a regular schedule of 4 hours or more per day or exceeds 1,000 hours per year is automatically enrolled in Cal Pers.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant is required to have a minimum of two years of experience in food preparation, food packaging, and serving.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Food Handlers/ServSafe Certificate

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 0% sitting, 50% walking, 50% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and in a generally hazard free environment.
