DESCRIPTION:
The position is responsible for the day to day operations of the health services and programs provided by the Health Services Agency, ensuring compliance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations. They are also responsible for contract development, personnel, and building projects for all divisions of the Health Services Agency. Performs related administrative and professional work as required. Working under the direction of the Executive Director, they provide supervision to Division Directors and administrative staff of the Health Services Agency. This management level position serves as part of the Health Services Agency Management Team and reports organizationally to the Health Services Agency Executive Director, and functions as the assistant department head.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in a health care related field and;
  • Two (2) years of health care administrative experience which included supervisory responsibilities.
    OR
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field and;
  • Four (4) years of progressively higher levels of health care administrative experience which included supervisory responsibilities.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
