Under direction, performs administrative support work for a member of the Board of Supervisors and performs related work as required.
The Board Member Assistant provides administrative and liaison support to members of the Board of Supervisors. Duties will primarily include communication and collaboration with federal, state, and local authorities on fire related issues and management of social media postings, including announcements of important fire related meetings. Additional duties include managing calendars, sending out meeting invites, arranging meetings, taking minutes, and other administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Experience and/or education acceptable to the appointing Board of Supervisors member.
Requirements: Possession of a valid Class “C” driver’s license, or equivalent, may be required.
