Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the day to day operations at the Chester Cemetery.  The GM oversees the Assistant Manager, the “At will” employees, manages the office, prepares reports for the Board of Directors, sometimes acts as the Board Secretary, attends various webinars and classes required by law and for betterment of the job and prepares the paperwork for the cemetery deposits and bill paying.  The GM also interacts with the public, planning burials, marking and digging graves and helping visitors find existing graves.
