Overview
The internship will be hands-on manufacturing of big steel looms. Work will include: blanking and final sizing of small and large steel parts, running the CNC, MIG welding, finishing parts, and helping in assembly. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Sustainable Manufacturing, have knowledge of operating CNCs, and have steel welding experience.
The position is temporary. Start date is early July to end of August. As a temporary position, it does not include a benefits package. Hours will be early, starting around 6 am (to avoid the heat of the day). It is possible that the job will be a 4/10 situation (Tues-Fri).
