Job Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and working in close collaboration and under direction of the Campaign Specialist, the Campaign Associate provides support in the execution of the Workplace Giving Model, events and other fundraising activities part of UWNC’s Development Department. The Campaign Associate provides effective outreach and presentations to communities in Butte/Glenn/Plumas counties on behalf of UWNC.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

Support Workplace Giving Campaigns in Butte/Glenn/Plumas Counties:

– Researching and entering data on prospective companies

– Phone calls to assist in setting meetings and campaigns

– Preparing campaign materials

– Workplace presentations

Participation in and all-round support of fundraising events:

– Support in volunteer recruitment

– Assists with overall event coordination

– Tabling at community events and benefit fairs

Collaborate and work collegially, professionally and productively with internal stakeholders including Butte/Glenn development staff:

Qualification, Education and Competencies Desired

·      Minimum Associates degree

·      Experience in fundraising and or event planning highly preferred

·      Excellent customer service skills

·      Strong presentation skills

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills

·      Ability to positively engage with diverse audiences

·      Attention to detail

·      Ability to multi-task

·      Bilingual / multilingual a plus

·      Able to work on a keyboard comfortably through an eight-hour shift

·      Able to lift up-to 15 pounds

Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Minimum Education and Experience
