Pay: $43.07–$64.04/hr, DOE
Description:
Modoc Medical Center is accepting applications for a Full-Time Controller in the Finance Department. This position directs the financial activities of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls, while providing financial analysis and guidance to leadership. Strong leadership, organization, confidentiality, and communication are essential for success in this role.
Essential Functions:
- Direct accounting activities and internal control processes
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cash management
- Analyze financial data and advise leadership on operations
- Ensure accurate, timely financial statements and reports
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Monitor department staffing, priorities, and operating costs
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate financial records
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in a business-related field required
- 2–5 years of healthcare business office experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
