Position Summary:

Under direct supervision the incumbent is responsible for the coordination and management of all day to day operational aspects of the Dining Center including being responsible for various administrative tasks in accordance with the guidelines of the PSA 2, AAA Area Agency on Aging. Depending on location the incumbent may be responsible for the Home Delivered Meals Program, scheduling of transportation and the supervision of volunteers and Work Alternative enrollees. The position reports to the Manager Operations The incumbent may have access to third party credit card information and transactional systems (cash registers, point of sale devices, applications supporting credit card applications, and reports or other documents containing credit card information) and will ensure that appropriate organizational procedures are followed.

**The primary location for this position is in Burney, CA**

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years progressively responsible positions with leadership responsibilities
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate with project personnel, customers, volunteers, and the community at large
  • Shall be sensitive to the needs of older Americans
  • Must have problem solving skills and ability to make decisions
  • Must be familiar with local senior service organizations
  • Possess supervisory skills, the ability to instruct and organize activities, coordinate and train volunteers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College course work, or training in gerontology preferred
Minimum Hourly Wage: 15.50
