About Modoc Medical Center:
Join Modoc Medical Center’s Acute Dietary Services team and support high-quality meals for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. This Extra role offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced acute care environment.
Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide assists cooks and dietary staff in meal preparation, delivery, and kitchen operations, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver food trays for general and therapeutic diets

Assist with food preparation and special dietary needs

Transfer and deliver food carts efficiently

Operate dishwashers and clean kitchen equipment

Maintain clean, organized work and storage areas

Follow infection control practices and foster positive team relationships
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Good verbal and written communication in English

Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-oriented

Physically able to walk, bend, lift, and perform kitchen tasks safely
