Position Summary:

Under direct supervision the incumbent is responsible for dispatching vehicles for the Programs’ transportation system in accordance with all Program requirements. The incumbent effectively schedules transportation for clients throughout the North State Service Area in a cost efficient way, and may supervise Transportation Department Staff in the absence of leadership. The position reports to the Manager Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years experience in dispatching or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Ability to operate a 10 key adding machine and basic computer programs including Microsoft Office and other programs
Must have full knowledge of areas in Shasta County
Full knowledge of 10 code
Must have a valid California Class B-Passenger endorsement, CA Drivers license free of citations or moving violations for a period of three years prior to date of application

Minimum Hourly Wage: $15.50
