Overview

Position Summary:

Under direct supervision the incumbent assists in a variety of duties that support the operations and management of all phases of Connected Living program and services. The incumbent may coordinate volunteers.

The Food Bank Coordinator handles administrative and distribution activities in all Food Bank operations.  Key duties include; coordinating & supporting volunteers, managing food distribution operations, administrative & inventory tasks.  Ability to work well with people, hard-working, empathetic and self-directed are key qualities for this position.

Minimum Education and Experience

Education Required: High School
Minimum Hourly Wage: $16.00
Maximum Hourly Wage: $18.00

About Dignity Health Connected Living

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years in a Social Services or Administrative Support Position
Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office and standard office equipment
Experience and/or training in gerontology, communicate with senior citizens, staff, volunteers, and the community at large
A strong background in office operations, including general office procedures, management, marketing and organizational skills
Experience and/or familiarity with social service and aging programs
Must have a valid California Driver’s License and qualify to be insured under company vehicle insurance
May be required to obtain a Class B license within 90 days from DOH depending on department assigned
Must obtain CPR and First Aid within 90 days from date of hire if required by department assigned (Transportation)
Preferred Qualifications:

Some college preferred
