Under direction of the Clinical Director, to plan, organize and direct the in-patient nursing services of Restpadd PHF; to coordinate and integrate the activities of the nursing service with other Facility Departments and organized Clinical Staff; and to perform related work as required.
Participates with Clinical Director and other management staff in planning and implementing the nursing services program, responsible for nursing staff education and in-service training, attending administrative and treatment team meetings; participates in the interviewing, hiring, scheduling of nursing staff, evaluation of nursing staff performance; plans, trains and supervised the activities of nursing personnel; covers the floor in emergency situations; review of all incident reports/unusual occurrence, seclusion and restraint investigation to ensure compliance with WIC regulations; interprets program and policies to staff and community groups; assists in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating nursing policies and procedures with respect to specialized psychiatric treatment; assists in the development of the budget for nursing services; assists with QA/PI/IP/RM data collection and analysis; serves on committees; ensures that all required statistical information is complete and accurate; submits regular reports as required; monitors/supervises processes and procedure related to medication management and compliance with industry regulations and other such duties as required by Clinical Director, Facility Administrator and Medical Director.

Prepare clear and concise reports
Provide skilled mental health nursing case
Possession of a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of CA
Possession of an appropriate California Driver license
Qualifications (Must meet ONE of the following.):
Masters degree in psychiatric nursing or related field with experience in administration; or
Baccalaureate degree in nursing or related field with experience in psychiatric nursing and two years of experience in nursing administration; or
Four years of experience in nursing administration or supervision and with experience in psychiatric nursing.
