Overview
Job Summary: To maintain dish area, equipment, and chemicals. Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen utensils and service ware.
Education and Experience:
a. Kitchen experience beneficial but not required.
b. Ability to multi-task and balance/prioritize work.
c. Knowledgeable in health and sanitation guidelines.
d. Ability to obtain a food Handlers Card.
Certificates/Licenses: ServSafe Certification
Language/Communication: Ability to read, write and speak English is required.
Job Requirements:
a. Scrape food from dirty dishes and place them in dish racks. Wash all utensils, glassware and dishware, and store correctly.
b. Sort and stock clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
c. Change dish machine chemicals, water, and three-compartment sink, as needed.
d. Inspect and verify machine is working properly and chemical levels are correct throughout the workday.
e. Wash/mop variety of work areas (e.g., tables, walls, refrigerators, floor, etc.) throughout a shift.
f. Clean floor mats.
g. Assist with food and beverage deliveries. Receive and stock product using FIFO.
h. May be cross trained into other BOTH positions.
i. Other functions as assigned by management.
j. Communicate with management all equipment problems and maintenance issues.
Hourly wage: $16.50 to $17.50 + tips
