Job Title: Event Staff (On Call)

Department: Food & Beverage

Pay: $22/hour

Summary

Provides exceptional guest experience by assisting with events. May work in the Event Center, Carlino’s, Obsidian Spirits Amphitheater, or assisting with Casino floor events for concerts, banquets, conferences, or promotions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide constant, attentive, and friendly service to guests
  • Monitor main entrance to ensure proper admission. (Verify tickets, stamp hands, and apply wristbands)
  • Assists guests in locating assigned seats
  • Serve and refill complimentary beverages to guests
  • Clear away dirty dishes and glassware from occupied/or unoccupied tables in a timely manner.
  • Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level
  • Maintain a clean and stocked beverage station
  • Relay any complaints, problems, or positive remarks to the Supervisor
  • Maintains assigned workstation and section
  • Monitor entrance doors with restricted access
  • Assist with crowd control
  • Direct traffic to authorized parking areas
  • Assist with set-up/clean-up of events
  • Must always perform all duties in a safe manner to oneself and all cast members and guests
  • Must be able to report unsafe situations to the Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and/or one to three months related experience and/or training. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
