Full Time (40+hours per week)- Staff may be required to work weekends and after-hours
Wages: $41,600 – $52,000 annually DOE

Empower Tehama is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to provide routine and preventative maintenance, repairs and upkeep for all agency facilities. A minimum of two years’ practical experience in building maintenance and grounds keeping desired. First aid certification preferred.
The Facility Manager is responsible for keeping all buildings (interior and exterior) and grounds properly maintained and in compliance with agency standards; federal, state, local, and municipal ordinances. Routine tasks include building and equipment repairs, interior and exterior painting, and daily attention to appearance and safety factors. Under minimal supervision the Facility Manager, performs both skilled and unskilled tasks in the upkeep of all facilities and grounds; Assists with special projects as needed, including setting up for events, assembly and installation of furniture, art, etc.; Oversees fleet management for agency-owned vehicle(s) including scheduled maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and general vehicle upkeep and assures that vehicles are prepared for regular use and special trips; Monitors landscaping contractor performance (landscaping/lawn care and irrigation system maintenance) to assure landscaping and related systems are operational and up to standards; Supervises staff performing daily cleaning services including regular cleaning of lobbies, offices, common areas and restrooms; Documents repairs and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner; Meets with sub-contractors and monitors work as needed.
We are looking for someone who is dependable with reliable transportation.
CA driver’s license and maintain proof of current auto insurance.
Must have experience working with tools and equipment commonly used for maintenance and repairs.
Requires good listening and communication skills, good decision-making and attention to detail. Professional etiquette.
Must operate and comply with established guidelines and safety procedures.
Computer skills, specifically Outlook (email, calendar, contacts), and basic WORD and Excel. Willingness to use technology is required.
Good organization and care for resources.
