Job Title:          Groundskeeper
Department:     Maintenance
Reports To:      Director of Maintenance
FLSA Status:    Non-exempt, Full-time, Regular

Salary: $15.50

Position Purpose:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•    Simple work orders to relieve skilled positions.
•    Empties and cleans exterior trash receptacles and ashtrays.
•    Remove litter and cigarette butts from garage, customer walkway and planter areas, stairwells.
•    Operates and maintains blower, pressure washer for use in garage, walkway and stairwells.
•    Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts.
•    Hand waters landscaping when necessary.
•    Clean glass on windows, and doors.
•    Advises supervisor of materials needed.
•    Maintains a professional, courteous attitude at all times with customers and staff.
•    Clean parking area elevators.
•    Curb Painting, Traffic Painting.
•    Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Valid California Class C Driver’s License and must be able to lift in excess of 70 pounds

Education and/or Experience
Education Level – High school diploma or equivalent is required

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Ability to obtain a Class “A” gaming license.( As provided with a clean background check)
