ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a supervisory-level class. This position develops, implements and supervises budgetary and personnel issues, data systems, contracts, client billing and asset management for the Health Services Agency. Performs related professional work as required.
The staff of the Fiscal and Support Services Center are responsible for providing all administrative and accounting functions for the Agency. The Fiscal Data Supervisor supports the agency by facilitating recruiting, contract preparation, purchasing, safety, and maintenance functions. We take pride in providing these services in the most efficient and effective manner possible to ensure the maximum number of dollars are available for services for the residents of Tehama County.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Nestled in the northern Sacramento Valley, Tehama County lies approximately midway between Sacramento and the Oregon border. The County sits alongside the beautiful Sacramento River and is only 50 miles west of Lassen National Park. Tehama County is the central point of widespread recreation; with nearby camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, snow skiing, and boating resources as good as or better than anywhere in California.
Tehama County is home to approximately 65,000 people. In our County’s small town atmosphere, you can experience the feeling of knowing your neighbors. Additionally ,the mean travel time to work is only 23 minutes and the cost of living in Tehama County is lower than many other places in California.
If small town living isn’t for you, Tehama County is also just a short drive to larger communities that offer a more city-like atmosphere. The City of Redding is approximately 31 miles north of Red Bluff and the City of Chico is approximately 45 miles southeast.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human resources, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative or accounting experience.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience is preferred
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
