Description: 

We are looking for a professional food and beverage leader to be responsible for overseeing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all Food, Alcohol, and misc. orders. The leader will also be responsible for managing and training staff when they work in the kitchen or bar areas. The F&B leader will be expected to work in the kitchen and bar areas hands on ensuring sales goals, portion control and quality controls are all met. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction, fantastic service, great food all provided by employees demonstrating awesome teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use and ensure staff is using all daily, weekly, monthly checklists
  • Work with bar staff to prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Complete all food orders by taking inventory on the order guide and ordering to a par
  • Ensure misc. item orders are completed using inventory guides and a par system
  • Help in the kitchen preparing food as assigned or as needed
  • Foster and maintain a positive work environment
  • Balance register and prepare bank deposits as needed
  • Be able and willing to work as a team and foster/demonstrate a positive team environment – remember on our team there is no such things as “that’s not my job”
  • Manage all food & beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Work Store Team Leader & Dan/Earl to design exceptional menus
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
  • Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented
  • Establish targets, KPI’s, set goals and follow-up
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Report to management regarding sales results and productivity

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Proven food and beverage management experience
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
  • Guest-oriented and service minded
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certificate a huge plus

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to work in hot conditions for extended periods of time (80-100 degrees)
  • Must be able to work in cold conditions for short periods of time (40-10 degrees)
  • Must be able to work around chemicals commonly used in restaurant and kitchen environments

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while working (2-6 hours at a time)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Frequent bending, turning, shifting, kneeling, walking and lifting of common kitchen items will be required throughout each shift
  • Must be able to work around all common foods, fruits, nuts and shell fish that would commonly be found in a restaurant kitchen environment
