Job Summary: An Expeditor/Food Runner contributes to the success of The Oaks by assisting the Restaurant Manager,
Chef, and the Servers with executing a memorable dining experience. They expedite meals making sure presentation is to the
standards set by the Chef. They assist the Servers by delivering the meals to the diners. They also maintain the restaurant
and kitchen work area in a clean and orderly manner throughout their shift.
Education and Experience:
a. Prior experience in busser/food runner or a strong willingness to learn
b. Ability to multi-task and balance/prioritize work
c. Knowledgeable in health and sanitation guidelines
d. Excellent Communication skills
e. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and communicate with all levels of management
f. Passionate about engaging and creating personal connections with our community members
a. Valid Driver’s License
b. California food handlers Certification
c. High School Diploma or Equivalent
Language/Communication: Ability to read, write and speak English is required.
a. Upholds professional food and beverage image including cleanliness, proper uniform, and appearance standards.
Wage Range: $15.50 to $16.50 + tips
