Position Title: Graphic Designer

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Department: Marketing & Public Relations

Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s digital and print graphic design.

• Develop and maintain Graphic Design Standards for Turtle Bay’s departments and partnering organizations
• Design for multiple audiences and marketing campaigns.
• Design both promotional and educational materials, such as brochures and infographics.
• Oversee digital and print projects from conception to delivery.
• Source images for print collateral, website, and social media use and maintain the organization’s photo and video archives.
• Assist and advise staff on the implementation of the organization’s branding and style guide
• Additional tasks as assigned

• Minimum Bachelors degree in design or related field required.
• Minimum two (2) years of design experience

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated public speaking skills. Must communicate compellingly in various styles and circumstances and interact effectively with staff, management, the media, and community, civic, and business contacts.
• Ability to skillfully organize and manage details, problem solve, and oversee diverse priorities and/or multiple projects simultaneously and within deadlines independently or as part of a team.
• Creative thinking and imagination skills
• Excellent crisis management skills and ability to observe, recognize, and take corrective action.
• Experience developing and maintaining print and electronic media contacts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended days, as needed.
• Knowledge of MS Office software. macOS, and experience with Adobe Products (especially Premiere, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Photoshop).
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license or be able to acquire it within ten (10) days. Provide a clean DMV report.
