Overview

Under direction, supervises and directs the operations of the medical records department and other office support functions; develops policies and procedures related to the management of medical records; supervises the work of assigned staff; performs related work as assigned. EOE

Additional Application:

Preferred Education: High School Diploma. Associates Degree in Health Information Management. Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the medical records management field Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Supervisor practices and principles, including work planning, scheduling, review and evaluation, and employee training and discipline. Business data processing principles and automated records management and document scanning systems. Able to analyze problems, evaluating alternatives, and seeking sound conclusions. Planning, supervising, reviewing and evaluating the work of others
