families affected by domestic violence including crisis intervention, support advocacy, legal services, housing assistance and counseling.

About the Job
The HR Supervisor provides day-to-day support for the managers and staff related to Human Resources and oversees the Human Resources department. Areas of responsibility include overseeing and ensuring compliance with all employment and volunteer documentation, records, correspondence and files; responsible for active recruitment; training and tracking; scheduling and monitoring performance evaluations. Actively participates in hiring and discipline activities. Provide initial training for new employees and volunteers to assure each new staff member or volunteer has the tools they need to begin in their role with the agency. Oversees the open enrollment period and serves and the insurance coordinator for employee benefit plans. This position works closely with the leadership and executives of the organization. Leadership, consistency, vision, and planning are critical for this position.

Must have experience working in Human Resources and knowledge of CA employment law. Must be well-organized with strong active listening skills; professional phone etiquette, good decision-making, attention to detail and a non-judgmental attitude. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

This position is full-time (40+ hours per week). Staff may be required to work weekends and/or after hours. Upward mobility is available from this position.

Vacation (2 weeks); Sick (2 weeks); Holidays (15) totaling 6.5 weeks paid time off/yr.
