Job Description:

Responsible for assembling machines from start to finish and training customer on use and best practices. Operates machines as required. Ensures that machine assembly is conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures, that quality standards are met or exceeded, and that related documentation is accurate and complete. Job requires extensive travel.


1.      Assumes responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of machine assembly.

  1. Assures that all the necessary parts are available at the customer’s facility to assemble the machine
  2. Ensures that the customer’s facility is ready for the installation in terms of location, electrical and air requirements
  3. Completes the machine installation, ensuring that the machine is fully functioning
  4. Trains the customer on the use of the machine, maintenance protocol and its safety features
  5. Gives basic training on software so that customer is competent to run the machine effectively
  6. Completes the installation in a timely matter
  7. Provides timely and accurate communication with the customer prior to arrival

2.      Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communications, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and management.

  1. Assists and supports other Installers as needed
  2. Keeps management informed of activities and of any significant concerns. Identifies problems and provides suggestions
  3. Provides timely and accurate communication with the customer prior to arrival

3.      Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

  1. Service machines at customer locations as required
  2. Completes special projects as needed
  3. Assists with customer service duties as required


  1. Good customer feedback regarding installation quality and functionality
  2. Quality standards are met or exceeded
  3. Safety regulations are closely followed
  4. Effective communication and coordination exist with customers, Company, personnel and with management
  5. Provides expense and installation reports to management promptly after job is complete
  6. Management is appropriately informed of area activities


Associates degree preferred but not required. High school graduate or equivalent.


Knowledge of assembly procedures and the use of hand and small power tools.


Previous experience helpful but not required.


  • Very strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experienced traveler – enjoy extensive travel
  • Computer / Software skills – CAD Software is a big plus
  • Quality orientation
  • Well organized and attentive to detail
  • People person, with the heart of a teacher
  • Willingness to assist others
  • Ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Clean DMV
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and international -possess a passport


Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lean over or crawl under machinery. Must be able lift 70 lbs.

Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requires a Drivers’ License: Yes, Operator License

Minimum Salary: 17.00 Hour                                               Maximum Salary: 19.00 Hour
