Job Title: Job Developer

Job Time Type: Full Time

Job Description: The job developer is responsible for evaluating the client’s background, skills, and interests for potential jobs or training programs. They help coach and prepare clients for interviews and entry into the workforce. The job developer establishes and maintains a working relationship with outside employers and public agencies to secure employment and/or training opportunities for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact with employers to obtain internships and jobs
  • Determine client requirements
  • Develop job vacancies and information available to clients all in relation to work
  • Propose names of qualified applicants to clients
  • Review job applications and employment orders to conform applicants to work requirements
  • Match client skills and experience with employer’s requirement
  • Record and evaluate applicant education, experience, training, knowledge, and skills
  • Negotiate and develop transitional and permanent job opportunities by wage subsidies through employers for lasting placement opportunities
  • Update and maintain client’s records not selected for job and share with manager
  • Support clients to secure and retain job and advance in work settings
  • Supervise employment to ensure people attain success in job placement and career objectives

Requirements:

  • Must pass live scan through Butte County Sheriff Department
  • Associates Degree in Business, at least
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Current CPR/First Aid
  • Must be able to sit for several hours
  • Must be HIPAA compliant
  • Professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license

  • Minimum Salary:
    $15.00 Hour           Maximum Salary: $20.00 Hour
    Customer service oriented, professional attitude

Pay Comments: DOE (Depends on Experience)
