Under the general supervision of the Shelter Manager, the Overnight Shelter Advocate provides a variety of services to persons who have experienced domestic violence and/or sexual assault, to promote resident self-sufficiency and transition from Shelter to the community; to provide a variety of counseling, crisis intervention, and general support; to interview participants assessing needs, making referrals; and other work as assigned by administration.
