Overview

(ATTENDANT): Daily responsibilities include: prepare chair lift terminals, set up maze lines, greet and check guests for lift passes and proper equipment, assist guests loading to ensure customer safety, comfort and efficiency, and operates the movement of the lift, as well as working the top terminal. In addition, attendants will participate in crowd control, opening and closing procedures, snow shoveling, and general house keeping. Other duties as assigned may include working in other departments.

(OPERATOR): In addition to the duties of the attendant above, ONLY the operator can START the lift.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have an upbeat, happy, and friendly attitude, good verbal communication skills, able to use your voice loudly, and be willing to communicate with public. In addition, you must work well under pressure and shall at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior towards coworkers, supervisors, and the public. Some workstations may require the applicant to ski or snowboard. If skiing or snowboarding is required, an ability assessment test will be administered.

Mt. Shasta Ski Park is located at 5,500 ft. elevation. Winter conditions can be severe with sub freezing temperatures, high winds and snow.
The majority of the job is performed outside in these conditions.
Uniform items will be issued.
