We are a Family Owned 240 Acre Ranch located in the Foothills of Placer County, (Lincoln, CA) looking to fill two full-time, permanent positions with the potential to live on site. We are welcome to the idea of hiring a team or a couple. (Couple Preferable)    

Position A: “Reliable and Hands-On” Property Caretaker—Preferred skills include:

  • Operation and maintenance of ranch equipment
  • Property maintenance general skills
  • Chainsaw work, clearing fallen trees, as needed
  • Basic Irrigation system repair
  • Landscaping, Gardening skills, Pool maintenance

Position B: Household Caretaker—Preferred skills include:

  • Household cleaning and organization
  • Meal planning, preparation, and culinary skills
  • Laundry, ironing, and folding clothing
  • Vegetable gardening
  • Grocery shopping and home supply purchasing

The ideal candidates for this position must possess the following qualities:

  • Safety conscious, with knowledge of safe practices around machinery
  • Works cooperatively with management and other coworkers
  • Has a positive attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility when changes in tasks may arise
  • Possess a hardworking and self-driven work ethic
  • Follows instructions well, and is able to identify and complete additional tasks that have not been assigned by management


  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test
  • Possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license
  • Able to lift, push, or pull heavy loads (50-100 lbs.)
