Overview

A property management company in Susanville is looking to fill some maintenance technician positions.

These positions will be temporary to permanent positions. Positions starts at 90-days with the possibility of being permanent after that. 

Schedule is Mon – Fri 8:00 – 5:00.

Starting pay is $20.00/hr. and is paid weekly.

Duties include: 

A. Perform daily inspection and maintenance of common areas, and grounds, (i.e. trash pick up, play- ground, stairwells/railing, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, tenant service order requests, annual unit inspections, etc.)
B. Full landscaping responsibilities-maintain and repair the sprinkler system, mow lawns, trim shrubs and lower tree branches, fertilize, weed, etc.
C. Clean, do maintenance and paint or touch up interior units upon move-out or as directed/needed.
D. Provide exterior touch-up painting of railings, doors, trims, complex signs, etc.
E. Provide minor repairs to both the interior and exterior of the complex, including plumbing, electrical, door locks, appliances, carpets, drapes, sheet-rock, tile, etc.
F. Maintain an accurate inventory of all tools, equipment, and supplies assigned to the complex.
G. All equipment assigned to the complex is to be kept in good working order at all times.
H. Organize and maintain shop(s) as per MBS/ California policies and regulations.
I. Obtain written bids and provide follow up with local contractors for major repair work needed, as requested by the management agency.
J. Order and/or pick-up necessary maintenance supplies as needed.
K. Clean community rooms, laundry room, office, and public restroom as scheduled.

M. Snow removal, if applicable.
N. When an employee is regularly scheduled (contracted) to drive to a specific property, that mileage is not paid. It is a part of that employee’s regular work schedule. Occasional travel to surrounding properties to assist when needed and/or for training. Employee will be paid for time and mileage.
O. Available for after hour emergencies (occasional).
P. Have at the time of employment and maintain throughout employment, reliable transportation, a current valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
Q. Ability to read and write; ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner with residents, supervisors and vendors; regular and predictable attendance

Some experience is required.

Upon offer of employment there will be a tier 2 background check.

Requires a Valid Drivers License and a vehicle with current insurance.
