SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:

Assist with marketing department tasks and requirements as dictated by the Marketing Manager.  Holder of this position must be highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.  Day-to-day duties include close collaboration and teamwork with members from other departments such as Product Marketing and Sales to assist with material produced by the Marketing Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / JOB DUTIES:

50%     Maintain rotating company signage as needed.  Coordinate with all departments to support internal promotions, awards, presentations, printed material etc. as needed while maintaining a consistent corporate image.  Assist with interdepartmental project related communications and follow-ups as assigned.  Assist with customer targeted external communications, preparation of  presentations and documents to assist internal and external sales team and marketing manager using, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Constant Contact bulk emails, telephone, fax, email, and postal mail.

25%     Maintain contact lists, both internal and external.  Maintain E-Signatures and business cards company-wide to required company style.  Maintain staff and representatives directory online.  Assist with analytics, databases, reports, filing and other administrative duties as assigned.

15%     Assist with graphic design, photography and copywriting as assigned. Assist Tradeshow Coordinator with show displays, signs and handouts.

10%     Maintain list of job deadlines and archived completed tasks. File electronic and, where needed, hard copies of all work with dates and all materials associated with the job.

Additional Marketing Related Job duties to include:

  • Assistance with advertising opportunity research; maintain filing system; job lists; marketing calendar of meetings; and advertising deadlines.
  • Support of website and advertisement content management and postings as needed.
  • Manage lead fulfillment as needed including, but not limited to, catalog distribution and requests for printed materials and promotional items.
  • Proof and prepare documents, online and print advertisements, and print pieces as assigned.
  • Maintain customer surveys

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

  • Contributing to a team effort by working with co-workers in a positive, professional, respectful and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining specific, up-to-date work procedures, including records and files used for reference and management needs.
  • Providing backup support for other administrative and marketing duties as required.
  • Discussing projects, including those from other departments, and strategies with supervisor prior to implementation.
  • Following instructions and ask for assistance when needed.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Must possess the following knowledge and skills and be able to demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Design and additional computer skills preferred, including specific programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Constant Contact, Excel, as well as collaborative tools such as SmartSheet.
  • Ability to type detailed documentation, and proficiency with M/S Office programs.
  • Willing to follow instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline oriented workspace.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional, positive manner.
  • Ability to assimilate information and present solutions and strategies.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using computers, software and databases.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language with enough proficiency to understand and communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, and telephone etiquette skills.

QUALIFICATION  STANDARDS:

Education:  Any combination of education, training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.  Degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.
Experience:      Minimum of 12-months in Marketing and/or design-related field
Grooming:       Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance appropriate for professional front office/customer contact standards.
Safety:      Inside, climate / noise controlled office environment; lifting to less than 50 lbs.
