Overview

Administration – Medical Staff Coordinator: We have a full time, benefited position available working Monday through Friday day shift. This very unique position is not an entry level position, we are seeking someone with administrative experience and computer and customer service skills.

Some of the position responsibilities are as follows: establishes and administers the credentialing, reappointment, and privileging processes. Coordinates procurement of DEA, licensure, and malpractice insurance information. Originates or collects and maintains appropriate records; assists medical staff leadership in the development of bylaws and related policies; originates and maintains agendas, minutes and post meeting correspondence for all Medical Staff committees; prepares credentialing reports and action items for the Board of Directors.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:  two years of administrative experience, preferably with at least one of those years in a hospital/physician’s office setting or medical related field, although that is not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer skills and professionalism is required. Starting pay is $20-$22/hour, depending upon experience.
