Full time daytime or nighttime line position. Cross training will be available. Very busy Farm to Table seasonal restaurant in Redding. Moonstone Bistro does not have Microwaves or Heat-Lights. We make everything from scratch, including pickles, aioli, bread, pasta, all desserts, everything. Every cook is responsible for their own Mise en Place. Don’t know what Mise en Place means? Its the word cooks use to describe the set up for their station. Everyone at Moonstone becomes classically trained. Its a solid, good crew, great teamwork, with people who have pride in the food they make. We have room for another crewmember.

Pay depends on experience, but starts at $18, plus we have tip pool, which brings average pay to $22 per hour. ($37,500 -$45,500 per year) to start.

If you know your Mother Sauces, or if you want to LEARN your Mother Sauces, if you are good with a knife, if you can temp meat by touch, or if you love bread and baking, tempering chocolate, making caramel, we are your spot.
