TITLE: Night Shift Order Selector
DEPARTMENT: Operations – Night Operations
REPORTS TO: Night Operations Manager
WAGE: Starts at $21.00/hr.
DESCRIPTION:
The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and productively selecting product from specified warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. Hours are subject to change on any given shift. Overtime work is required and must be performed as needed. At no point shall you leave without approval from your Supervisor.
DUTIES:
· Assemble pallets accurately and productively by safely selecting product from warehouse pick slots while maintaining the integrity and quality of the product.
· Accurately label product as it is selected from the pick slots.
· Achieve, and strive to exceed, established accuracy and productivity goals.
· Heavy use of electric pallet jacks and other motorized material handling equipment to efficiently and safely move product throughout the warehouse.
· Ensure proper care and handling during all stages of product movement.
· Identify and report any issues that may impact a customer delivery.
· Communicates opportunities to management for improving accuracy and productivity.
· Maintain clean floors and aisles to ensure safety and productivity.
· Maintain accurate daily reporting requirements.
· Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
· Actively participates in the daily success of the department.
· Will contribute to the overall success and continued evolution of ProPacific Fresh by creatively adding value to the organization whether indicated within these job duties or not. Will partake in tasks assigned that are outside the scope of this job description, but within the capabilities of the employee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Accuracy/Attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Prior pallet jack training preferred
· Warehouse experience preferred High school or GED preferred
MANDATORY CERTIFICATIONS: Electric Pallet Jack and Forklift
Upon successful hire, the employee will be required to complete a one-week training program from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. At the end of the training period, the employee will be assessed. If all requirements are met, the employee will then transition to the night shift position.
$2,000 Sign On Bonus – will be paid in four equal installments of $500 each- 1st installment after 90 days, 2nd installment 180 days, 3Rd installment 270 days 4th installment after a year.
