The Office Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to others in the office to maintain an efficient and organized working environment.

Work Schedule/Status:

Part time leading to full time upon completion of 90 day probationary period and adequate progress, 8:00am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Completion of some community college courses preferred
  • Knowledge of basic business bookkeeping and principles
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills to perform tasks using office software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Suite
  • Must be able to effectively multitask
  • Be able to communicate well
  • Initiative to learn new responsibilities
  • Reliable work ethic
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
Skills, Duties, and Preferences:
  • Answer phones; take and distribute accurate messages
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Invoicing customers, receiving customer payments, assisting with accounts payable and entering bills into the bookkeeping system
  • Accurate maintenance of the office filing and storage systems; fax, scan and copy documents; type documents, reports and correspondence
  • Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists, and client information
  • Maintain customer technical support database
  • Assist office manager with specialty projects as needed
  • Will be responsible for following all company safety standards
