Empower Tehama is a nonprofit organization in rural Northern California. Our mission is to promote healthy relationships and social change in our communities. We offer many services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence including crisis intervention, support advocacy, legal services, housing assistance and counseling.
About the Job: The Office Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day activities and operations of the entire office and ensures effective, efficient, quality services and delivery of programs. The Office Coordinator performs the intake process for clients; processes referrals’ coordinates and provides documentation for services as needed; provides support for the Clinical Director and works closely with the Clinical Director to maintain quality assurance of all office systems. This position is part of a cross-trained team receptionists, advocates and first responders and must work well in a team and as an individual.
Must be proficient in Outlook and have working knowledge of WORD and Excel; Must be well organized and possess strong active listening skills; This position requires an understanding of professional phone etiquette, good decision-making, attention to detail and a non-judgmental attitude. Requires completion of a 40-hour domestic violence certification training (post-hiring requirement).

This position is fulltime (40+ hours per week). Staff may be required to work weekends and/or after hours. Upward mobility is available from this position.
Vacation (2 weeks); Sick (2 weeks); Holidays (13) for a total of 6.6 weeks paid time off
