Starting Salary: $14.00-$15.60 per hour (Steps 1-7 depending on verified experience)
Schedule: 6 hours per day, Monday-Friday 8:30-2:30 (Applicants must be able to work days & hours indicated) / Full Time / Benefits Available

About the Position:

Under general supervision of the Administrator and classroom instructor, this position is responsible assisting certificated staff in the academic instruction of individuals or small groups of students in an Alternative Education environment. Employees in this classification are required to pass additional background screening through the Probation Department and to maintain this level as a condition of employment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge
and skill is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skill would be:
A.A. degree or higher, 48 units of college level credit, or Para-educator certificate.
High school graduate or equivalent.
First aid and CPR training desirable.
