Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Pay: $22.76–$33.34/hr, DOE
Description:
Modoc Medical Center is accepting applications for a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician in the Retail Pharmacy. This position assists pharmacists with the accurate and timely processing of prescriptions, including filling medications and entering patient information. The role supports prescription workflow, customer service, inventory, and third-party claims while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
- Fill and refill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Enter prescription, patient, and insurance information
- Process third-party claims and resolve rejection issues
- Assist customers with prescription pickup and transactions
- Receive, stock, and monitor pharmacy inventory and supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- California Pharmacy Technician license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
- Strong organization, accuracy, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients and pharmacy staff
