Plumas Rural Services’ is seeking someone interested in an exceptional learning opportunity with future career potential to train to become a Batterer’s Intervention Program On-Call Facilitator.
The Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) On-Call Facilitator will support the program by facilitating BIP classes in the absence of the Program Coordinator. The selected candidate will receive training, support and hands-on training as they learn the curriculum and process of delivering BIP services. Hours during training have some flexibility; however, hands-on training will occur during scheduled class time. Once the selected candidate has been trained and certified the candidate will provide facilitation when needed. This position provides the right candidate with an opportunity to learn a new field and develop skills to effectively deliver curriculum and learn a new career field.
Position is varied part-time hours to start. Initial training is 40 hours then 8 hours per week for 12 1/2 weeks of hands-on training. Position starts at $19.08 hour. Upon completion of all training, hourly rate will increase to $20.61 hour. Successful candidates must pass a background clearance.
