Overview
Job Summary: This is a working supervisory position requiring weekend and holiday work.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining safety by enforcing policies and
procedures, which ensure efficient and effective operation of pool facilities including personnel
management and training. Duties involve all swimming pool operations which include but are not
limited to scheduling staff for swim lessons, adult aquatic classes, open swim, private events, and
special events. Limited pool maintenance including daily chemical analysis/testing. This employee
should have excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills.
Education and Experience:
a. Prior experience in Pool Management Operations
b. Must be 18 years or older
c. General Management Experience
d. General Public and Customer engagement experience
e. Ability to explain policies and procedures
Certificates/Licenses:
a. Valid Driver’s License
b. Lifeguard Training Certification
c. CPR & First Aid
d. High School Diploma or Equivalent
Language/Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
Job Requirements:
a. The ability to follow department policies and procedures and to concentrate on tasks in the
presence of distractions.
b. The ability to provide instructions to employees under their supervision and have excellent
organizational, public relations, oral and written communication skills.
c. Cash handling skills following general accounting procedures.
d. Daily contact with the general public, staff, and Maintenance Department.
Wage range: $17.00 to $20.00
