Production Assistant Manager oversees product production, works with the fabrication team to build, inspect, and refine production processes and works alongside production personnel to create the best products with the least number of defects. Oversees production formulas and output and working to effectively meet production demands while maintaining a safe work environment.
You will perform inspections and also work on the production lines, you will assist in production equipment repairs and modifications, perform quality control oversight. You will handle raw product goods and various additives and binders used in the manufacturing process.
This is a specialized industry, one that is not only growing, but one that demands attention to detail and consistency and discipline for the production of our products.
If you have experience in manufacturing or construction is a plus, you need to know how to read a tape measure and be prepared to understand our custom manufacturing process. Often there is heavy lifting required and you must have a solid and enthusiastic work ethic. Must be able to learn on the job, plan and manage people. Computer and writing skills are required for the recordation of product numbers and for improving our processes.
Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying
- You must be at least 18 years of age to work for SafePath Products.
- Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts (5:30am or 8:00am shift times).
- Must be able to learn how to drive a forklift.
- Must be willing to sign an NDA that protect trade and customer confidentiality and other federally protected trade secrets owned by SafePath Products.
SafePath offers, health insurance, 401K, paid vacation time off (after vesting) and provide yearly bonuses. Starting pay is $41,000 or more depending upon experience.
