Under the direction of the Senior Director of Workforce Development and Business Partnerships, the Program Coordinator manages the Career Technical Education (CTE)/Apprenticeship programs in Butte County and all associated services. The Program Coordinator coordinates the on-going programs with the development and the implementation of any new vocational training programs and/or education services that provide appropriate entry level, upgrade, and re-entry training to program participants. The Program Coordinator ensures high quality and relevant career development instruction and cost effective program operation that is in compliance with California Education Code, administrative regulations, and the policies and procedures of the Butte County Office of Education (BCOE). The Program Coordinator, with guidance from the Senior Director, is responsible for planning, development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of all aspects of the CTE/Apprenticeship programs.

Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
2. Experience working with workforce agencies, educational institutions and /or community organizations in the development, implementation and support of programs
3. Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated successful experience in the development, administration and oversight of youth and/or adult transition programs
4. Minimum of three years of successful team experience within a work setting
5. Experience working with and oversight of grants and programs, strongly preferred
6. Demonstrated experience with employment and training programs and/or workforce development
7. Possession of a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance

Salary Schedule 16, Range 27, $90,355.20 – $115,315.20 annually. Annual stipend pay: Master’s $750 or Doctorate $1,250 (Salary and stipend prorated upon hire).

Length of Work Year: 7.5 hours per day/Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm/12 months/260 days annually (Prorated upon hire)
