Overview
Modoc County Public Health is currently accepting applications for a Public Health Nurse (PHN) or PHN Intern position. This is a full-time position located in Alturas CA.
Salary range: PHN: $5,470-6,981/month | PHN Intern: $4,617-5,892/month.
Duties:
The Public Health Nurse/Intern will provide nursing services as identified within the various Modoc County Health Services Programs; Maternal Child and Adolescent Health, Communicable Disease Control, Immunizations, Public Health Preparedness, and/or Nurse Home Visiting. Assignments determined by program needs and the employee’s area of expertise.
Minimum qualifications:
- PHN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing/RN (CA) with a certificate in Public Health Nursing from the State of California.
- PHN Intern: Registered Nurse (CA) and enrolled in an approved RN to BSN program.
