NorCal Elite Gymnastics is looking for an energetic, positive and reliable Recreational Gymnastics Coach & Events Host to join our growing team!
This is a hands-on position for someone who loves working with children. You’ll coach recreational gymnastics classes and help create fun, safe, memorable experiences during birthday parties, parents nigh out, open gym, camps and other special events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS
- Coach preschool through Level 1-3 classes
- Teach proper fundamentals & skill progressions
- Follow NorCal Elite curriculum and safety procedures
- Keep classes structured, active and fun
- Help athletes build confidence, strength, and love for gymnastics
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
EVENTS & BIRTHDAY PARTIES
- Host birthday parties, parents night out, open gym, camps and special events
- Welcome children and families and create a positive experience
- Lead games, obstacle courses, open gym, crafts and other activities
- Supervise children and ensure safe equipment use
- Keep events organized and on schedule
- Assist with setup, cleanup and resetting the gym
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experienced in gymnastics, cheer, dance, athletics, PE, childcare, camps or working with children preferred
- Gymnastics coaching experience a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are equally important
- Energetic, patient, encouraging and safety-minded
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
- Comfortable with an active job (demonstrating skills, spotting, lifting, moving equipment, on your feet)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
