The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy, cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas monitoring. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates, infants, and pediatric, adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the Cardiopulmonary Department.


Required Education: Current California licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, holds current CPR and NRP certifications.

Experience:   Two years experience in critical care with ventilator care preferred, new graduates welcome to apply.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Preferred experience with cardiac testing such as ECGs, stress testing and holter monitors.  Neonatal ICU preferred. Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis needed.
