Overview
As a CSR you will be the first contact and set the tone of hospitality as you greet our guests. As you welcome them before their tour, and receive them back upon their return, you will have the opportunity to interact with them multiple times. You will work at registers selling tickets and merchandise, as well as answer phones, make announcements and communicate with our boat captains to maintain accurate information to keep tours on time. A CSR is cross trained to serve in many capacities. There is Gem shed, our lakeside check-in, a snack bar in addition to front desk duties.
In our hospitality and food service you will stock, handle and prepare a variety of foods. You will be required to follow directions as required by state food service standards. Breakdown and setup each day in the kitchen is a team effort and a part of your service. As a part of stocking merchandise, you will be required to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull a loaded handcart, as well as walk up and down staircases multiple times daily. Your duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the hospitality areas of our facility. The positions are full time and up to forty hours a week. The biggest reward for a CSR is being able to have a personable conversation with a diverse people to make their experience more enjoyable. You may provide them with information pertaining to the Cave Tour and Upstate California.
