Spray Chem Chemical Company is looking for a professional, energetic, detail oriented individual who
appreciates teamwork. This job will require the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move,
Load, and offload 330 gallon totes, 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails, 50 pound bags, etc. It will also
require some physical strength and mobility to physically maneuver 500 pound drums, lift 50 pound
bags, climb ladders and stairs, and repeatedly climb on and off forklifts and vehicles. You may also be
required to interact with customers. This position will be responsible for assisting with chemical
blending and repackaging and will require working with hazardous chemicals. Carelessness and inability
to follow direction will not be tolerated. This position will also be responsible for organizing and
maintaining the warehouse and inventory. Tasks for this position may include but are not limited to the
Offloading freight via forklift and pallet jack and ensure inventory is properly stored and
Repackage Chemical products, including rinsing, cleaning, filling, and labeling containers.
Pull, package, and/or stage product for carrier pickup or shipment on our trucks
Check inventory and assist with scheduling to achieve the target delivery times.
Ensure shipping documentation is complete and correct for products being delivered (ie.
Manifests, hazardous descriptions, labels, SDS, CofA, etc.)
Operate and maintain stretch wrap machine and other warehouse equipment.
Perform and log pre‐checks on forklifts and pallet jacks.
Assist in maintaining warehouses in a clean an organized manner, including sweeping and
Prepare empty containers for return or recycle
Rinse and clean empty containers for re‐use
Perform pressure test, inspection, and recertification of IBC’s as needed.
Maintain personal safety equipment and PPE assigned to you as well as warehouse and blending
Assist with chemical blending. **Note. Must adhere to all PPE & Safety protocols and be
comfortable working around hazardous chemicals.
Perform lab tests and quality inspections of chemical products.
Be at least 21 years of age
Be a quick learner with the ability to follow direction and have good attention to detail.
Be physically able to maneuver 500# drums, lift 50# bags and climb into and out of vehicles and
forklifts as well as climb stairs and ladders.
Be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
Pass pre‐employment drug test and background check
Experience in forklift operation
Understanding of weights and measures and average or better math skills
A Commercial Class A or B Driver’s license with a Hazmat endorsement to enable assisting with
Hours and Compensation:
The anticipated work‐week is Monday through Friday, 40+ hrs per week, based out of Durham, CA.
