Starlinger Assistant Operator

Job Description: 

The Reprocessing Center Assistant Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all recycling equipment. In doing so, the employee will provide support to the Reprocessing Center Lead by ensuring that daily production goals are met.

· Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

· Comply with all PreZero safety practices, policies, and procedures

· Must be a team-oriented person and able to work with others

· Safe operation of all recycling equipment

· Ensure that material is properly loaded into the recycling line

· Identify and remove any contaminants from the material stream

· Empty and/or change sorted materials containers

· Maintain a safe, organized work area

· Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

· High School Graduate or GED equivalent

Work Environment: 

· The work is performed indoors in ambient which fluctuates in temperature extremes from 32oF-105oF.

Physical Demands:

· May be required to lift up to 100 lbs, assisted.

·  Good hand eye coordination and the ability to discern colors

·  Hand dexterity and strength

·  Work performed in a warehouse type facility
