Overview

Housekeeping begins the day at 9:00 am.  The hours worked each day depends on the hotel occupancy the night before. Each day you must be prepared to work up to 8 hours but may only work 5 give or take an hour or so.  Must be able to work 5 days a week and possibly 6 including weekends and holidays.

Cleans hotel guest rooms and common areas of the hotel.

Strips soiled linens from beds and gathers soiled towels.

Remakes beds with fresh clean linens and restocks clean towels.

Sweeps, dusts, mops guest room floors.  Dusts guest room furniture, wash windows, cleans mirror, tubs/showers, toilets and cleans bathroom floors. Empties trash cans.

Vacuums hallways and stairs.

Restocks housekeeping cart throughout the day and at the end of the day.

Must be able to reach and grab, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.  Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Must be able to move quickly and complete work accurately.  After training, you are allowed 30 minutes for a checkout room and 20 minutes for a stayover room.

Valid ID and Social Security Card required
