Requirements / Qualifications

*Verification of Masters and/or Doctorate degree (if applicable)
*Letters of Recommendation – two current within 5 years (you will not be considered for this position if these instructions are not followed)
Licenses and other requirements:
*Valid California Teaching Credential with Mild-Moderate or Moderate-Severe Specialist designation.
*Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Comments and Other Information
Master’s Stipend – $2,825 or Doctorate Stipend – $3,725 (prorated monthly).
Location: Excel Academy, 3711 Oasis Road
Hours: 8:00am-3:30pm (7 hours/day)
Instruct special needs students in a classroom, individually and in small groups in accordance with Shasta County Office of Education policies and procedures; plan, implement, and evaluate learning programs and activities; develop and implement IEP goals and assess student progress and achievement; coordinate programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically.
